Understanding pitching results
How to read your campaign results and what the feedback means.
Your campaign results show how curators responded to your track. Here is how to read them and learn from the feedback.
Result types
Approved means the curator added your track to their playlist. You will see which playlist and can track streams from there.
Not a fit means the curator listened but felt it did not match their playlist style. This is not a rejection of your music quality.
Pending means the curator has not reviewed your submission yet. Give them time.
Reading feedback
Many curators leave written feedback explaining their decision. Pay attention to patterns. If multiple curators mention the same thing, that is valuable information for your next release.
Success metrics
A 15-25% approval rate is considered good. Even top artists face rejection. Focus on the placements you do get and the relationships you build with curators who like your sound.
